NOw there are three threads.
I would respectfully suggest that we close up amat off topic and go back to the original amat thread. I will not post on brians thread but i am already going thru the material he posts. I think we should take richards et als advice and post OT at the beginning of all ot posts on amat prime. I am a big offender on that front but i will try.
Although in times of great passion the amat thread gets a little hot, it is my feeling that the mix of amat news, market talk and current events gives the individual investor more to work with. Book to bill doesnt always determine valuations. That whole broohaha with flecenstein yesterday makes that point because there is a guy who believes passionately that by historical standards the market was and still is overvalued. In a vacuum he is correct but he fails to take into account baby boomer demographis among other things.
NOw with a war raging who wants to really buy and sell stocks without an understanding of the political situation. Not me. Thats the shortfall of brians thread and thats what we have to gain if we go back to Amat prime I will post this on both places and then delete the link to this thread. mike
