Well, I think I've also read that Intel uses Sun workstations to do much of their design work. I've also read that Sun runs its production line on PCs, and I think they buy components from IBM. It's a small world. As I recall, Microsoft originally wrote Windows using Unix rather than DOS.

I can't vouch for the accuracy or currency of any of the above, though. It's just stuff I've read in the press from time to time.
