i'm of the opinion that cycles from a general level are accurate, but forecasting a market turn to the day is impossible. the way i see it, the Fed has fired everything they have with little effect. one day, we'll all wake up and be blindsided buy some economic, corporate or political problem and the market will tank. since the Fed has done everything at this point, they will be impotent to stop it's demise.

short tops and take profits when available. buy puts with a 2002 strike so you can profit when that blindside move happens.
