I would note that Japanese companies were considering dumping charges against some of the Asian suppliers; I believe MU has also made these charges in the US (not sure though).

Trends are are for higher memory per unit, especially with the launch of Windows XP. In addition, Intel has been introducing new chipsets for various types of memory...and not just Rambus for the Pentium 4.

I would note that the entire semiconductor sector has been on fire the last 2 days on positive commentary.
True. They could be running on anticipation but there are also factors at work that may finally put in a bottom in the semiconductor industry. I am certainly not sold on that idea but am willing to try to follow the momentum in these stocks.
