Wanna, re instability, some folks put up with it more than others, and won't make it a big factor in selecting platforms. I remember from my mainframe days, for example, that universities didn't even mind an occasional crash. They'd just reboot and go merrily on their way. Almost any kind of business, medium or large, however, would be all over you like a cheap suit with every outage. Might say something about Intel's keeping corporate biz to themselves? Even if AMD is as good as Intel in areas like stability, their reputation is not. Expected flame sources: university people, if we have any; any and all AMD backers. Tony
