Roger, I don't know the answers to your questions re short interest. Suffice to say, that anyone who was short ALYD would be a fool not to cover in the morning. With the last 3 days of contract announcements, WHY would anyone be foolish enough to go short? A better bet would be to short Microsoft. At least MSFT went down today, so that would be a start.

I did extensive homework on ALYD, at least enough to convince me to go long, but I had plenty of time to research at my leisure, as ALYD traded flat for so long. And yet, I have to say I never once worried about any short interest.

There would only be a minuscule short interest prior to the MacDonnell Douglas announcement, as the stock had been in a sold flat base for many months. I know of no way to find out the short interest for through today, and I seriously doubt there is any way to know.
