Mohammad's father's name was Abdullah, which means the curtain bearer of Allah, because he opened the curtain for the statue of allah for everyone in the temple to look at and pray to. If Mohammad was the first person who thought of the word Allah then why was his father's name Abdullah. If anything his father should have been the prophet, or you may even argue his grand father should have been the prophet, who had the wisdom to name his son Abdullah.
