Oddly enough, I used to order from Calif. wine stores all the time at my former address. Since I've moved to this apt., nobody will ship to me. Hey, it's about a mile and a half away. But I figure they must have gotten caught by the Texas vigilantes.

And, since the gout, it is a moot point. But we also have a great wine store in town called Spec's. It's prices are often as cheap as the discounters and the main negative is paying for the governor's mansion every time I buy. <g>
