It really doesn't matter if they lie, as long as their lies stay consistent over time. They've been systematically understating CPI for years to keep the rise in Social Security payouts down. Ask any housewife (or househusband, like me -g-).
The entire month of Oct has been surreal, and we've got a good start now on Nov. Just trade your charts, boys and girls, and forget about reason because you won't find any of that in the markets.
