BOTHELL, Wash., Oct 18, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Microvision, Inc. (Nasdaq:MVIS) announced today that it has been awarded a $1.5 million subcontract by Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) in support of the Office of Naval Research's Battlespace Information Display Technology (BIDT) program.

The BIDT program will develop innovative display technologies for delivering wireless tactical information to the warfighter. CTC will integrate Microvision's retinal scanning display (RSD) technology into lightweight display devices that will be used in command, control, communications, and intelligence (C4I) operations.,
