What did you think about the reports that Itanium is following the grand Intel tradition of silently corrupting data?
First, establishing Intel's tradition of producing dangerously defective CPUs came the 386 FDIV error, then came the Pentium 1.13GHZ data corruption problems, the the 3 RIMM data corruption problems, then the MTH data corruption problems, then the Xeon 900 data corruption problems, and now it looks like Itanium destroys customer's data too!
