Tom, take a moment and think of all of the great engineers who once worked at Bell Labs and built Ma Bell with pride.

Then take a moment and think about all of those once great engineers who put their life savings in a company they trusted, which has now become Lucent Technology.

Now for one second, just think how all of those great engineers who now depend on management at Lucent Technology and how they must think about the poor management that ran their life savings into a rat hole.

See any similarity?

This isn't about Great Engineers it is about managing a company.
