Petz, Re: "Hasn't Windows 2000 become an "orphan" OS with this release?"

Makes me happy to have three systems running Win2K here. I was annoyed that the OS upgrade price to XP Pro was the same for Win2K as the consumer windows versions. But, I have been happy with Win2K and will probably give XP a try on one system - just not sure if I will go with the home or professional version or even whether it will be an upgrade or whole new OS purchase. I do like that Win2K is dual processor ready... but I am still waiting for some more dual Athlon mobo options! Argh! <g> Of course since I remain a thousand posts behind on the thread perhaps there is some happy news or rumors on this front awaiting me.
