hi iso, one largely unremarked aspect of immigration is the 'h1-b' visa class for a boatload of hi-tek engineering talent employed at just about every hi-tek shop you could name. i recently retired from intel and i can assure you there are a lot of very nervous folks walking the halls... i'm NOT trying to stir up the rabble. i'm just pointing to a fact of life that could become a major problem in the business environment of an already vulnerable sector in a very shaky economy. if i may quote from 'monty python': "no one expects the spanish inquisition..." it just seems that, somehow, suddenly, you're right in the middle of the damned thing. regards, larry
