Russia will not return to the market of platinum metals until the middle of 2002, Valery
Rudakov, head of the Gokhran state depository of precious metals announced at the
fourth international conference devoted to the situation on the market of precious
metals and stones and its outlooks. He explained that exports of platinum metals have
been suspended due to the situation on the world platinum market. This decision has
been coordinated with Norilsk Nickel, one of the largest producers of platinum.

I don't trade platinum but thought you might find
it interesting.
