JB, did you watch Fox News yesterday? Mohammed Asi was the topic on Brit Hume, and Shabazz was on Hannity and Colmes. So apparently others agree that these opinions (Black Panthers) are newsworthy. Shocking to see them in our own country, but it's good that we know.

I could not sleep well last night. It reminded me of something that happened this summer, where we discovered an enormous yellow jacket nest inside my younger son's bedroom wall. There was a soft spot in the sheetrock and when I was trying to figure out what was causing it, the wall split open and yellow jackets started coming into his room. It was really shocking. One minute everything looks fine, familiar and comforting, and the next minute you are under attack from inside your own walls.

The honest truth is that Mohammed Asi is an accurate spokesman for the Islamic Movement. They do not believe that democratic capitalism and Islam can co-exist in peace on the same planet. Next time you read or hear someone scoffing at Templeton's "Clash of Civilizations", remember Mohammed Asi and ask yourself whether Templeton was right.

On the Brit Hume show, Fred Barnes was asking, "where are the moderate Muslims, to counteract Mohammed Asi's rhetoric?" I have news for Fred - Mohammed Asi was telling it like it is. I don't know what percentage of Muslims want, for example, Israel to coexist peacefully with the Palestinian people, in peace, but it's got to be miniscule. And the percentage of Muslims who don't blame the US for Israel is tiny, as well. They don't all want us to die for it, and they don't all believe in bin Laden, but Israel is something they all agree on.

As for what percentage think that the Mossad took down the WTC and bin Laden is just being slandered, my guess is that it's rather large, based on what I am reading in newspapers all over the world. I think even the Saudi government is hinting, because they keep saying that they haven't seen any evidence.
