You are incorrect about the Fidelity Layoffs...

760 people were laid off this week.... NOT 7,000...

One thing is for sure... the greater Boston housing market has slowed considerably with a friend of mine in the area saying all the real estate agents have recently said the prices have peaked (at least for the foreseeable future )....

The days of bidding up property prices ARE OVER! (for now)

Homes...especially the upper end... are on the market for months and months with widespread price drops....
