Urgent Letter on Behalf of Persecuted Christians NewsMax.com
Dear friend, On Sunday, October 28, a congregation of believing Christians was holding church services in Behawalpur, Pakistan.
As they prayed and remembered Christ, six masked gunmen – Islamic terrorists – toting automatic weapons entered their church and opened fire.
As they mercilessly killed worshipping Christians, the terrorists screamed, "Blood for blood!" Press reports said the Christians were butchered because of U.S. efforts to capture Osama bin Laden.
Within minutes, 15 Christian believers were brutally murdered.
In Pakistan, Christians make up 2 percent of the population, but the Christians in Behawalpur are suffering like many Christian believers in fundamentalist Islamic regimes throughout the Mideast, Africa and Asia.
But many of the sufferings of Christians in countries around the world do not get reported by the major press, and little aid is assisting the persecuted.
That's why Christian Freedom International is so vital for all believing Christians. Christian Freedom International represents the interests of Christians in Washington, the U.N., and before governments around the world. We also do much more.
My name is Jim Jacobson and I am president of Christian Freedom International (CFI).
CFI is supported by many distinguished Americans, including a Board of Directors that includes U.S. Senator Don Nickles, former Reagan Ambassador Faith Whittlesey, and noted Constitutional Attorney Michael Farris.
NewsMax.com editor Christopher Ruddy says CFI is "the most respected, most diligent organization aiding persecuted Christians in the world."
Christian Freedom International (CFI) is an unparalleled organization that combines advocacy in Washington, D.C., with humanitarian assistance for persecuted Christians on the front lines.

Tragically, Christians are being persecuted on almost every continent in the world today. Their property is confiscated or destroyed. They are thrown into prison and tortured. Many are martyred.
Fortunately, there is hope.
Active in some of the most dangerous countries on earth, CFI is a recognized voice for persecuted Christians around the world. We work tirelessly to help save lives every day.
For instance, our ongoing work in Sudan and Burma includes going in to active war zones to deliver essential medicines, food, clothes, tools and Bibles to believers cut off from all outside assistance.
We document atrocities committed against Christians in these isolated areas and speak out on their behalf.
We also work to establish self-help, education and training programs so that suffering Christian communities can learn to help themselves.
Most organizations only provide assistance to places where they have an official invitation from a sovereign government. But repressive regimes never extend this invitation. As a result, many Christians who need help go without aid or advocacy.
The mission of CFI, however, is to reach the part of the persecuted church that is
the most repressed,
the most cut off,
and the most isolated. That's why we accept no government or United Nations funds.
CFI is a nonprofit, nonpartisan Christian human rights organization operating under the provision of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. CFI is supported by voluntary donations.
Most of our contributions are from individuals and churches.
Among other things, CFI operates the following programs and activities:
Orphanages
Field Hospitals and Clinics
Backpack Medics
Field Schools
Micro-enterprise
Direct, Emergency Assistance
Child Sponsorship
Bible Schools
Bible Distribution
Asylum Cases
Advocacy
CFI is a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA).

Even if you can't make a sacrificial gift, please, please pray for God's blessing and protection on the work of CFI.
"Therefore, as we have opportunity," Paul wrote, "let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers."(Gal. 6:10)

Yours sincerely in Christ, Jim Jacobson
President
