This may be true, but it's too early to tell. Better to error on the side of caution. Two interesting points regarding these warnings that are kind of contradictory.

1) If news is made public, it may stop the attack. Which is good.

2) Terrorists could purposly be throwing out identifiable suggestions to see what lines of communication are safe for them.

Pretty weird scenario overall. One reason I think it is better to error on the side of caution is even with item no. 2, it will at least shut down that line of communication, leaving them with less. Regarding bridges, even though I think people should be brave and do their normal thing, I also think it is ok for someone to choose not to go on those bridges if they choose to heed the warning.
