Thanks for the thread, Amein. Several questions: It is unclear to me what is meant (in the Qur'an) that men and their wives go to Paradise. Do they remain married there in the same sense we understand it here? Do they procreate, thereby constantly adding to the population of Paradise? If that is so, are these new people incapable of ever breaking faith with Allah? If they cannot break faith, then it means that they are not free moral agents, doesn't it? If they can break faith what happens to them if they do? If men and women do not procreate, what exactly is the purpose of continuing the marriage relationship? Stan
