Speaking of Microsoft, I'm amazed how much faster Netscape 6 is than 4.7x. And you can even view the AMD website! I dislike IE 5.5 because 1) it doesn't tell you what it is doing -- for example, if your DNS isn't working, you'll know it with Netscape, not with IE. 2) it "gives up" too easy, saying something is not available, with no explanation Performance of Netscape 6.1 is definitely faster than IE 5.5.
