Yes, but those laws suits put at risk assets of the S. corporation, not the personal assets of Mr. S, or the S family estate. Though today, I guess, any deep pocket is at risk.

As for limiting liability, even that is questionable....As soon as the paint was dry on "INC" at the end of the business name he started receiving one frivolous lawsuit a month, whereas before incorporation it was maybe once every two years.
