I have spent years 28+ studying TA. I test and retest. There is no holy grail but there are many good indicators. So much depends on the person knowing himself. Thats probally not a problem with you based on some of your past selections. I would guess that MACD(13,34,89) would work well with you. You mentioned MA crossovers,13/89 xover, I like a 89 day time series MA with a 8 day horz shift. these are all intermediate term 6- 18 weeks. I think Dahl's primary trend is a good caller of trend using 0 cross trigger. Take a look at them. I don't know what supercharts uses for CCI formula. But standard CCI(13) does a great job on short term tops.
