Dear John:

Personally I use Opera. It is much faster than any version of either IE or Netscape. These are a few reasons, I like it:

1) It is very fast in loading pages.

2) It does have a problem in locking up occasionally on certain web sites (mostly geared to IE only). However this is mitigated by remembering what was displayed, so that if you restart it from either a new boot (Windows) or just rerunning it (Linux), you have the option of reloading all the pages you were displaying at the time of the lockup. This is also useful, if the OS locks up (always Windows).

3) It is available for both Linux and Windows.

4) It is a small download and it takes up less resources installed on a system.

5) Over in the upper right hand corner of the frame is a sizing percentage. This can be used to zoom the entire page in and out. Very useful when dealing with those pages that use too small a font and looking for details in pictures and graphics. The range is between 20% and 1000% of normal size.

There are many more, but these are the biggest ones.

Try it, its free and you won't look back.

Pete
