Joe, Re: Intel is lying. That's nothing new for Intel. Did you listen to the Executive Webcast? Otellini claimed that a 2 GHz Pentium 4 is the fastest processor around -- even in many "old" applications. If you are nice you could call this a gross exaggeration otherwise it's just a blunt lie. (Edit: And yes, AMD is also lying sometimes (recall the K6 fiasco), but at least they give more concrete information, e.g. processor shipment numbers or ASPs.) Andreas
