Andreas, you might want to question Intel's hardware setup, rather than accusing them of lying. Most of the current Athlon XP reviews are on the "cream of the crop" KT266A based boards. Intel might be testing with what they consider to be the most "mainstream" components for AMD, such as a board based on the AMD760 chipset. With 760 based boards, along with memory with relaxed timings (2-3-3 DDR266, for example) I bet the 2GHz Pentium 4 would outperform the Athlon XP on quite a few benchmarks. Also, what Intel considers "old" is very subjective, and could mean almost anything.
