The first casualty of war is truth The General brought a libel suit against CBS in the early 70's. I forgot about the General's big law suit. If I remember correctly he won a rather big aware. The media's real purpose is to increase circulation so they can earn ad revenue. Once that is realized, articles can be put in prospective. I also think a great deal of the news media does more then report the facts. They report the facts with heavy editorial comment supporting political agendas. Unbiased reporting is difficult to find. I also have problems with public opinion poles. I have never talked to a pollster in my life and I don't know any one who has. NW
