You are probably holding your stocks in 'Street Name' through your broker. The holder of the stock will get the same money as the offered tender (U$9.50 latest offer). The question of commission is between you and your brokerage. If you actually have the stocks in hand and do not turn in the certificates then they become wallpaper for your bathroom. Just as many of the companies have done this year. You should have received a several page document by this time with all the legal phrasing. If not then you should make a call to your brokerage.
