This week the markets were very volatile with explosive moves happening in both directions.
Of the 58 trades this week 35 (60%)were winniers . Of the winning trades 21 (60%) were on the
Long side and 14 (40%) were from the Short side. There were 7 Stop loss kickouts of which 5
were on the Long side. This is a switch from the previous few weeks where the majority of the
Stop loss kickouts came from the Short side. There were 21 outstanding orders as of close on
Friday of which only 8 (38%) orders are for the long side of the trade and 13 (62%)are Short ,
clearly the majority is expecting the markets to retrace as they are over extended by all counts
but the market has no intention of co-operating. Still no official change in direction and if this
keeps up there could be another wave of short covering soon as shorts begin to realize that
earnings season is almost over and there is very little bad news to shake investor confidence, in
fact we had some of the worst economic numbers released over the last few days and the markets
rallied off of them . The market participants must now wonder what kind of news will cause the sellers
to regain the upper hand. There appears to be many investors looking for a retrace in order to
participate in this rally because we have now entered what some term as the meatty part of the
calander where most of the gains can be realized from OCT to MAY. The Shorts are also looking
at the next decline to reduce some exposure and collect on some large gains . This environment can
make it tough for a pullback to occur with any sizeable move, if it can maintain its balance for a few
weeks, the markets should accelarate quickly to the next upper resistance level come mid month.

Happy trading and thanks to all participants, you all make it worth my efforts
