As if the FIG were not bad enough, the CRB isn't acting well either. The real rate paid on IBonds dropped to 2% effective Nov 1. Issue of 30 year TBonds suspended. I think policy makers are a bit worried. As to McTeer's admonition to buy an SUV- it's too late...
