Actually, for even less. I have an atlantic story on drug laws in the U.S., dating back maybe ten years, the guy I'm thinking of ended up with a life sentence for introducing a grower (not in texas) to a seller in New York. Neither the grower or the seller ended up in jail, because they were able to cut a deal for immunity by squeeling on other people. This guy in texas, was really a nobody, the low guy on the drug ladder, so he had no one to fink on, so he got totally screwed. I've got the story buried somewhere, I'll see what I can do. But if you do a google search, "marijuana atlantic story" you might find it.
