The appearance of "price reduced" trailers on home for sale signs.

Those signs imply that home buyers are conscious of price, but it doesn't mean that price is lower - or that home prices were inflated previously and must come down "proportionately to their inflated rise". They could stay up for justifiable (or at least persistent) reasons.

Assuming home prices were inflated, isn't the very essence of inflation (I'm not implying that higher home prices have caused inflation) is that prices persist higher. In other words, if prices came down from an inflated rise then there would be no inflation.

Me.

Fair enough. Collectively we all have a say.
