| Jim, where did that SCCBDS message come from? I have to agree with you, containers are our weakest link. Houston, Boston, LA, NY, Baltimore, Miami, Seattle, on and on with cities that are vulnerable. What do you think about the offshore port idea I posted about? It would take a lot of time and money to implement, though. What about container inspection? Could we require inspection and certification of containers are the loading port? And if so, how could we be certain that a ship coming into port only had inspected containers? We better take care of this weakness in a hurry before it is exploited. |
