Chris, I have the predecessor to this monitor from SGI: sgi.com These monitors are stunning in clarity and color. I have not seen the F180 but like most SGI monitors it is a cut above anything out there. CDW carries the F180: cdw.com I have looked at many Wintel compatible displays and most are dull and highly variable in their color quality compared to SGI. Like most things you get what you pay for but definitely go for flat panel over a big, hot CRT that can burn out after a couple of years. The US government also likes SGI technology which is why its stock has gone up 6X since 9/11. J
