I don't know, I guess it must be. Sooner or later we were going to have to put ground troops there, conventional wars cannot be won without them. Airstrikes can only "soften" things for eventual land based assaults. Unless of course you go all out with no restrictions on the use of whatever you have in your arsenal, then there would be no need for ground troops because nothing & no one would be left.
