Dear Amein, thanks for starting this thread. I would appreciate it if you wouldn't mind trying to answer a few questions... Why do religious Islamic leaders want to kill American women and children? Don't they teach tolerance, acceptance and love of all mankind? What is it about the Islamic religion which drives people to kill other innocent people? People who have done nothing to oppress them. Why don't Islamic religious leaders all over the world come together and denounce ALL forms of terrorism? I can imagine if the Pope, or some other Bishop, exercised their congregation to go out and kill innocent people, every priest, and every leader of the church would denounce it immediately. Why don't the leaders of the Islamic world do the same? With passion and conviction. With a real desire to end the tyranny of terrorism. All they have to say is "there is no excuse for killing innocent people. Followers that kill for the Qur'an bring shame on Islam". If the leaders of the Islamic faith did that simple act over and over. Eventually, it would end the cycle of violence and allow non Islamic followers to gain a better understanding of other important issues.
