Hi E; Re pig's blood and Moslems...

I've been ignoring this, it seems so, well, juvenile, but maybe somebody out there really believes this BS.

If it were possible to use pig parts as an efficient way of influencing Moslem behavior it would have been done millions of times over the past 1400 years.

Humans aren't stupid. The crusaders would have noticed this incredible weakness, and would have used pig's blood all over the place. Instead, in my readings of the history of the crusades, I remember no such things. (But I am getting older.)

To suggest that Moslems could be so easily influenced is probably a form of racism. At the very least it ignores the contents of the Koran.

There was the incident in India where a rumor of the use of pig fat in cartridges contributed to a revolution, but I don't recall the Moslem rebels refusing to use the cartridges to shoot at the English. Allah understands necessity. Heck, Allah understands expediency, particularly in warfare.
