Several select biotech stocks are doing well (see biobiznet.com). On the site, their were seven winning stocks (+2.18 to +75.53%) bought between May 1 and Nov. 2, 2001. However there were also six that declined. It looks like some of the winners are still going up and still might be a possibility that some of the losses might pick up. But of course, this depends on the climate that surrounds the biotechnology business and individual companies and the ability of the companies to take advantage of: the capital markets & government resources, intellectual property issues, partnering, experienced investigators & managers, clinical trials progression, and access to manufacturing facilities & resources, etc. Regards, Jake Blackmerlin
