I expect the results of upcoming elections to reflect the backlash from what happened on Sept 11. Democrats controlled the White House for 8 yrs. Even though the terrorists continually left their calling card during that time, no serious steps were taken to prevent the inevitable catastrophe. Our security intelligence was consistently eroded & the military continually downsized. Besides, for the past 50 yrs. the public in general has always felt more secure with conservatives in power during wartime. Nixon was elected during Vietnam War. We shall see if they still feel that way.
