You are correct-
Arafat is a problem as is the apparent lack of leadership for a new government but Israel must deal with the consequences and reality of being an occupier. Dealing with Arafat until the full benefits of peace are realized is just such reality. Fundamentalism and terror only appeal to those who have been disenfranchised- by providing opportunity and dignity- the voices of terror will be silenced. Arafat's corruption and lack of leadership will insure his demise post peace.
