The company said that revenues would be about the same as last year, but profit would be below expectations. However, ther should be a profit, rather than a loss, which is at least some comfort. The company said it will restructure to improve profitability, which means lay-offs of about 100. The cause for the drop was slower sales, especially of the communications software, as well as dealyed introduction of some new software. Not dismal, but nothing much to cheer about either.
