Which is the default setting for DDR266.

The board allows for a number of tweaks for enthusiasts to play with, and play with them they did.

Compare this problem with Intel's problems, where, instead of some optional setting being set too fast, the problem was caused by failures in PIII 1.13GHZ itself, the Intel 3RIMM configuration, the Intel MTH, the Intel Xeon 900MHZ, etc.

All intrinsic failures of Intel's designs that were failures whether the bios settings were correct or not.

PS - Your story about "180 degree off heatsinks" was pretty funny (unless you actually believed it, in which it's pretty sad). While you're at it, don't forget to have the air in your car's tires changed for the winter.

Wouldn't want to use summer air in the winter, would you?
