EV moved up $CAN 0.05 (20%) on a very strong volume (292K). Almost all buying came from one CAN house. It looks that finally something is cooking. Somebody paid $0.44 per share for a stock that traded at ~$CAN 0.25!!! This is the latest from EV: Erin Ventures to issue 2.5 million shares for debt Erin Ventures Inc EV Shares issued 23,105,095 Oct 23 close $0.20 Tue 23 Oct 2001 News Release Mr. Tim Daniels reports Certain creditors of Erin Ventures have agreed to settle approximately $1.1-million of outstanding debt for $400,000 to be satisfied by the issuance of 2.5 million common shares of the company at a deemed price of 16 cents per share.
