Tom, honour is important, I said it means dick in the context of your view of politics. In the middle east, there's little honor in Saudi politics or politicians. None of the regimes in the middle respect human rights, including Israel. Everyone has their own self interest at heart. It's all political expediency. President's Bush honor means nothing to those people. America's military might, its economic power, the peoples genius and love of country is what other foreign politician's respect. In Saudi Arabia, the rulers are for the most part corrupt jerks. Honor means nothing to those people. Consider, 18 of the 19 hijackers at WTC originated from Saudi Arabia. I don't understand where you think honor is so important, when none of the foreign players have any. Playing the honor card, is a fools game in the Middle East. A strong arm wielding a big stick is the only honor corrupt regimes understand. Honor means nothing to the devil, he'll stab you in the back after you've given him your honorable handshake. |
