To all....On the 17th June @ 9:35 AM.....I sent this e-mail to SHF....it is now the 26th June with no reply....again it just goes to show the state of SHF's Investor Relations department or should I say top management since a company is controlled from the top down.

I realize that a few of these questions have been partially answered by the recent news release however as shareholders we should get replies as the replies may affect what we do with our investment wether to increase or decrease...it is our right to have management answer our concerns.

As some of us know our requests for information has fallen on deaf ears, such as this request by
e-mai...we should be concern with how this company is being managed....when I got involved in SHF in January/96...the broker advised a buy because he felt at that time that the company had good management, shortly after his comment was very poor investor relations.

My calls to investor relations gave promises of news to come by such a date, most dates came and no news, yes there was news but not until in some cases weeks and weeks had passed.

Here it is 26th June/97 and a year has passed, same problem fighting for news and being ignored.

It is beyond me the reason for not getting someone in there who will increase the value of SHF by MILLIONS by merely spend a couple of thousand dollars and put Cam into the position he knows best which is as a geologist.

If my request for information on the 17th June/97 would have been answered and it would have revealed that the climate in Indo. is as bad as been reported, how many of us would have sold some or all of our shares....is SHF management deliberatly holding back vital information to us shareholders....You be the judge

This is what I sent SHF last week....

Dear SHF;

I have some questions regarding SHF and would appreciate a reply.

At the mining show in Toronto Cam made these comments outlined by an *

*1a) After the fiasco with Bre-x that SHF would release some very good results regarding Kaka....where are they??

*1b) That SHF would start releasing a flood of news...where is it. Is it
ever going to come??

*2) SHF was going to make application to the TSE to become listed....Has the application been made...if not why not???

3) To what extent has SHF scaled back in Indonesia...Has SHF maintained the same amount of people in Indonesia.

4) Have some of the properties stopped being explored.

5) Why have 10-11 JV companies passed on SHF.

6) Does news have to be approved by the Indonesia mines ministry before being released.

7) Has the climate for doing business in Indonesia changed so much that SHF will be moving out.

8) Why is SHF's stock being hit so hard...is there bad news coming that insiders are dumping???

I remember when the stock was at $7.00 and Cam said that the stock price was to high....is the stock price where it should be now.

I have taken a very heavy loss and I feel the least SHF can do is tell us shareholders where the hell we are going and if there is any hope.

A very dissatisfied shareholder.........Doug Brascoupe
