SE. When our darling seven year old, Cielo was six, we would have problems some times getting her to go peacefully during school nights.

A trick I've learned is after dinner has settled, maybe 45 minutes, we have horse play time. Where by I play with all three of them paying special attention to the at the time 6 year old. I would concentrate on Cielo and really tucker her out. Let her take a longerthan usual warm shower, and by thattime she's usually falling alseep while I or Mrs. West are brushing her hair.

Durung the warmer months of the school year, we will play tag out doors. Thatis the best because my strides out number her's solidly 4:1 or so and I can get her worked up into a real good sweat. Then I make a deal with her. I let her take a shower outside(we have one) if she promises to go to bed with out incident. It usually works, but it's more difficult to get them to go to bed when it's still light outside.
