mhirschey - Yahoo LVLT - Planting the seeds for a rumor.

mhirschey/ Dr. Mark Hirschey is a Professor at the University of Kansas. A person could not read anyone of his 10 daily post without learning this. This man has repeatily abused the credentials that the University has given him to pump LVLT.

This is one of his early posts. One month prior to the rumor that raged threw the boards about LVLT being bought out. Three months prior to the rumor that swept threw the boards into the newspapers and onto CNBC - Buffett buying LVLT bonds.

BRK has never bought the "highly respected Crowe" company LVLT.

Meeting notes for skibare

skibare,

I was in Omaha this weekend for the BRKfest, and, as your faithful reporter, I'm here to report what I've learned.

1. In line, way too early Saturday morning (5:15-7:00 am), I suffered through the smirks of two young hedge fund managers who KNOW that LVLT common is worthless.
2. Bond guys short the fixed income offerings because they KNOW future values.
3. Bond guys don’t care about management. Management is irrelevant. (Gee, I’m glad they cleared that up for me. I had been confused.)
4. Inside the Convention Center, the info was starkly different.
5. Inside the Center, I learned that Walter Scott has not sold any LVLT shares. Sometime ago Scott gave shares to a foundation to do good. Those shares may have been sold recently, but not by him.
6. Inside the Center, comments centered on the fact that LVLT has met or exceeded all operating targets.
7. Inside the Center, I heard the comment “James Crow has fire coming out is as*.” I’ve not heard that comment before, but it was meant as a compliment of the highest order. Buffett mentioned his enormous respect for Walter Scott and James Crowe.
8. Inside the Center, I found support for my conviction that there is a concerted bear raid under foot seeking to undermine investor confidence in LVLT. (aka “duh”)
9. Inside the Center, there is no support for the notion that anybody can break LVLT. (aka, HA, HA). It was not a light-hearted comment or reply.
10. Inside the Center, the view is that it will take 5 years for all of this to play out. Translation: We ain’t going down. The plan is working. These folks are serious players with a big objective.

Best wishes,
Mark Hirschey
