You know, he has built a huge library and research center right outside my home town in Tennessee. I have a friend who lives just down the road, who is a convert to Buddhism and is married to a Tibetan woman. I told him he ought to apply for a big grant to use that facility for religious research, and he said ruefully, "I don't go in for evangelical Protestantism any more."

An awful thing just happened at that library a few weeks ago. Some drunk students got in at night and were horsing around, and one of them slid down what he thought was a laundry chute. In fact, it was the feeder chute for an automatic garbage crusher. I think it will require a lot of contemplation to figure out why the Divine Providence allowed this to occur.
