Only a handful of natives lived here when the French and British settlers arrived. The natives today intermarry to some extent with the later settlers and their life span is much longer than before. They have free schooling, free medical attention etc. Were crimes committed against them? Yes, certainly. If we marched back to Europe and Asia and Africa and gave them the continent somebody else would take it from them. Meanwhile the U.S. is, thanks to people with opinions like yours, forced to be involved in two wars. One is the war to preserve the state of Israel, to keep the Palestinian Arabs out; that war helps bin Laden; he's tickled pink. The other war is to make the world safe from bin Laden and his ilk. The more the U.S. helps Israel in the first war the more difficult it becomes to win the second war. If we keep at this for ten years maybe enough people will finally get the message. I think the Zionists could contribute to the welfare of the states into which they could immigrate. All they have contributed to the Middle East is eternal war. The state of Israel proved inviable without military and economic protection of the U.S. Viable or not it is unjust to grab the Arabs' land and hand it over to others. Of course the Palestinians would have had more land if they had not fought in 1948 etc.
That doesn't justify the original hand over of the territory by the UN/Britain.
