No wonder, Americans have weight problems.
Regarding microwave popcorn, the extra butter, extra fat, extra salt, movie theater style is the best. Reheating coffee works great if you remove the pot from the heat as soon as the coffee is brewed, and then microwave individual cups later as desired.
I feel sorry for you Europeans. You pay 4 or 5 dollars per gallon ($1 + per liter) for gasoline, have 50 to 75 percent of your paychecks confiscated by your nanny state welfare governments, and then spend hours in the kitchen cooking food from scratch. OTOH, we Yanks can throw a Budget Gourmet in the microwave, nuke it, eat it, and toss it, and get on to other more important matters. We might be fat, but we're sure as hell more productive. LOL!! |
